Calling himself the Ill Dependent - producer and DJ - Hazo, originally from Wexford, has been making hip-hop with an Irish bent for a number of years. On the second release from All City Records, he teams up with ex Homebrew emcee Captain Moonlight for some uniquely Irish tales over delicious fat beats. Without question, Hazo is one of the best producers in Irish hip-hop, content to lurk in the shadows and leave his grooves hanging in the air. He has had a number of EPs on Ultimate Dilemma records which have combined beats crafted from crates of obscure funk records and spoken word poems of Luke Kelly and Bobby Sands, this is his first, of hopefully many, outings on Irelands dedicated hip hop label, All City Records.
